Last Monday we talked about those details that I love in clothing such as bows and tassels. Today I want to show you another one of my favorites: scallop details. You may remember this soft pink scallop dress from last summer. This pretty blouse was love at first sight: it’s baby blue, has a silky-smooth fabric and a scallop collar. All the things I could wish for in a blouse. I wore it with bottle green faux leather pants and a glitter belt. You saw the faux fur coat a couple of weeks ago in this post.
I wore this outfit for a family celebration last Saturday. We went to a cozy little restaurant back home called El Patio. The dining area is a library. Yes, the books on the wall are real! It looks like paradise for book lovers like me. It has the cutest decor details: every chair is different and the colorful glasses add a playful touch. The dining area is surrounded by a patio which is full of beautiful flowers in spring and summer. The food was delicious so needless to say it has become one of my favorite restaurants in town.
