Detox Juices

Some people can’t start their day until they’ve had a cup of coffee. I can’t start mine until I’ve had a freshly squeezed juice. It’s the best way to satisfy my cravings for something sweet while getting tons of vitamins. After that I usually have a glass of soy milk and a slice of homemade cake.
Fruit juices or smoothies are really popular right now. Every single coffee shop offers them and there are countless websites talking the amazing benefits they have for our health.

I’ve decided to narrow down my top three juices for a superb source of vitamins and energy so that I can share them with you. Nº1 is the one I make every single morning. I save the other two for weekends when I have more time. Quantities are for 1 glass of juice.

Juice #1
1 carrot
1 apple
1 orange
1 tablespoon bee’s pollen

Juice #2
1/2 cup of green grapes
1/2 cup of vanilla yogurt
1 cup of spinach
1/2 banana
1/2 apple
50gr. of pineapple

Juice #3
A handful of raspberries
1 banana
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup soy milk

Preparation is extremely easy:
1 Wash all veggies and fruit thoroughly, peel and remove seeds if needed.
2 Pour ingredients in a blender.
3 You can top them with leftover fruit.

The difference between making a juice, milkshake or smoothie depends on the procedure you follow:

  • You make juices in a blender
  • For milkshakes you need to add water, yogurt or some kind of milk.
  • Smoothies are those you make with crushed ice, ice-cream or frozen yogurt.

  1. I'm definitely a fan of natural juices! Unfortunately, I don't drink enough of them like I probably should…I'm still trying to kick the over-kill coffee habit as best as I can #guilty lol. These look fantastic though!

  2. Raspberry juice recipe is so unique and sounds so tasty! Mmmmmmmm I really need to give it a try!

I agree that fruit juices is a great way to eat more vitamins and support your immune system. When I'm on the go, I often pick up a cup of fresh juice. It's cheaper and more eco-friendly to prepare one at home though so your recipes will be really handy on my kitchen. Thank you for sharing!
