Ready for a flower overload? Because you are going to see plenty on this post. Last weekend I went for a summer afternoon walk and had to pick up a bouquet after seeing so many beautiful balconies adorned with flowers. It should be mandatory to have a well-kept balcony, right?
I want to tell you about my outfit. I recently bought these UGG Australia sandals which are the comfiest shoes I’ve ever had. I wore them for a whole day without having my feet ruined (which is something that always happens when I wear new shoes). The wedge is the perfect height and they are as light as a feather. And last but not least, the straps are not razors. I’ve had sandals that left some nasty cuts on my toes so I appreciate the softness.
And what can I say about the pretty straw basket? A picture is worth a thousand words. It’s one of those unique pieces that I’m always looking for. A local artisan makes these cuties among other crafts like wicker picnic baskets or kitchen accessories. You can see another one of her lovely creations on this picnic post from last summer. The baskets come in different patterns and sizes with longer or shorter handles. I use them all summer long either as a bag, picnic basket or I take them to the farmer’s market to shop for groceries.
