Balconies of Switzerland

It’s been a while since I did my last Switzerland post and I still have tons of photos to show you. While strolling around the streets of cities like Zurich, Bern, Schaffhausen or Stein am Rhein it was hard to look anywhere but at the beautiful buildings and their balconies. Gems hidden in narrow streets in the old parts of the city. It was also nice to see how well kept they are. Most were adorned with flowers in full bloom and some had colorful striped canopies.

Let me share with you my latest obsession: to photograph balconies. If you want to practice your photography skills, beautiful balconies are a good place to start. You are most likely going to get an amazing photo. Look for things out of the ordinary and especially flowers, they will add a pop of color that you can always intensify when editing your photos.

Have a great weekend,

  1. What a unique idea!! Switzerland has long been on my bucket list. I've always wanted to hang glide in the Alps. Have you tried that before?

The architecture looks beautiful. Just as I would have pictured it in my mind.
