Shopping in Madrid: Las Rozas Village

So I intend to write three posts per week. Monday’s post will be devoted to cooking, Wednesday’s to traveling and Friday’s to fashion.

So far most traveling posts have dealt with California so let’s talk about Madrid for a change.

Welcome to Las Rozas Village. Just over 30 minutes from Madrid, this relaxing and sophisticated shopping haven is easily accessible either by car or public transport. There is even a luxury coach service which runs three times a day from central Madrid. This chic outlet includes over 100 national and international luxury brands such as Versace, Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors, Loewe or Pretty Ballerinas. You can check out the complete list here. If all the shopping gets you hungry you can “refuel” at one of their cafés or restaurants with sunny terraces.

It reminds me of American open air malls such as the Stanford Shopping Center which I used to visit very often while living in the Bay Area. Instead of being a huge building full of shops, each brand gets its own cute little boutique. In my opinion shopping is more pleasant this way, especially on a beautiful summer day.

  1. What a beautiful place! I've always wanted to visit Spain, and I'm happy to know that it will feed my shopping addiction! haha. Gorgeous photos and a gorgeous blog!
