Sunday Picnic

One of the many things I love about summer is eating outdoors. Whether it’s dining al fresco at a restaurant or a picnic, I can’t wait to enjoy the mixture of two big pleasures: great weather and yummy food.

A picnic is the perfect way to spend a beautiful Sunday evening. For the occasion I got this adorable French basket from La Niña de la Comba (be sure to check out their website, they have the prettiest craftsmanship items and you can customize them!). Before we left for the countryside, we run to the grocery store and filled it with little nibbles like sandwiches, pie or a cheese platter. We arrived towards the end of the day, just as golden hour started to hit.

Of course, we also needed a bottle of rose. And to finish off we had fruit cups (how adorable are those watermelon hearts?!) and assorted biscuits.

  1. Having picnics is one of my favorite things to do in the summer! It's fun to get together with friends and just have one at the park down the street. I love those watermelon hearts, they look so cute! I've been wanting to try and cut up fruit into shapes for different holidays.
