On my crusade to try the most delicious food in Madrid I stumbled upon Anauco Gourmet’s Instagram feed. Then I realized this is not just another burger joint. It’s much more than that.
Their specialty are burgers, obviously, but the rest of their menu is just as good as them. One of my favorite things about the place is that you can choose the size of your burger. It ranges from size M (110gr) to XXL (360 gr).
We ordered a 007 (bacon, caramelized onion, fried egg, goat cheese, roman lettuce and BBQ sauce) and a Parmigiana (eggplant, mozzarella, tomato sauce, crunchy onion, Parmesan cheese and rocket).
We had fries with them but for a healthier option you can order a salad. Are you a vegetarian? No problem! They offer a veggie burger as well. And if you are not a meat lover you can choose one of their “sea burgers”.
Even though we were quite full already we couldn’t leave without having a dessert. Both of us have a sweet tooth so we never say no to a treat.
We shared a slice of this mouth-watering carrot cake and the Nutella tequeños pictured below. Tequeños are served warm and consist of a dough filled with scrumtious Nutella. They come with vanilla ice-cream and strawberries.
I’m already thinking of trying this delicious cheesecake next time…
Maybe we’ll start with this Nonna salad.
